MAJESTIC INDIAN WEDDING IN A PALACE IN PORTUGAL

And it really is. I have a habit of using the word Awesome far too often but this wedding is awesome in the truest sense of the word. That is - inspiring awe, admiration or wonder.Sleeveless prom Dresses
Imagine a majestic castle perched on a hilltop in Sintra, Portugal. Guests sipping Sangria on sun drenched turrets watch as a flamenco dancer swirls, claps and stamps her feet. At every turn, elegant women are draped with exquisite silk sarees in rich jewel tones and everyone is smiling, celebrating. The bride and groom in all their gold, blue and magenta finery look out over the vista – they are king and queen for the day.
International wedding photographer Sarah Falugo Photography weaves the magical story of their wedding so perfectly in these stunning photos.view more
Meet Brad, a farmer from Pitt Meadows and Rachel, a city girl from Vancouver.
Together they prove that old addage that opposites attract.
Their engagement shoot took place on Hopcott Farms in Pitt Meadows, Canada (Brad’s farm) amidst old barns, hay bales, cows and fields upon fields of cranberries.
I just love that Rachel wore a cocktail dress and glittery heels for part of the shoot!
You can take the girl out of the city…

The week before last I had the pleasure of featuring Perfect Event’s luxe black and gold 1920s inspired wedding shoot at The Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London.
Well, today wedding planner and stylist Nicole Adeyale of Perfect Events and her talented team treat us to another decade of style Tulle Prom Dress – 1950s Hollywood Glamour – and share creative new ways to use the luxurious spaces at The Connaught.
I’m partuicularly loving the rich palette of plum, dark red, raspberry, fuchsia and blush pink.
It’s pink ombre in it’s most sophisticated form, wouldn’t you agree?
Oh and I adore the Veronica Lake esque Vintage Waves, of course.view more
